Angela has taken part in many events, such as the Manchester Histories Festival, Henley Literary Festival, Derbyshire Literature Festival, and at the Museum of London. She appeared on Mysteries at the Museum in the US, and on The One Show on BBC One.

Angela’s interest in Victorian crime was inspired by the lives of her ancestors, who struggled to survive in the 19th century slums. Born in Manchester, she enjoys writing about her home city’s colourful past.
